Investing.com -- Thales shares rose as much as 3.7% to €245.20 on Monday after Deutsche Bank upgraded the stock to “buy” from “hold” and raised its price target to €296 from €283, citing improved visibility across the French aerospace and defense group’s businesses following better-than-expected first-half results. Analyst Christophe Menard said uncertainties underpinning the bank’s January 2026 downgrade to "hold" have cleared.

He added that Thales has the right technology positioning in the current defense debate pitting defense technology firms against legacy primes.
