The pregnant wife of a young expectant father is now left to pick up the pieces of an uncertain future after the man died in a “horrific” hiking accident. 33-year-old Andrew Paul Ferrarone, a Georgia native from Gwinnett County, was rock climbing in Big Bear on July 12 when the terrible accident happened. His wife, Nina, was just over eight weeks pregnant when he died. Ferrarone, known to his friends as Andy, died days later on July 15 from injuries he sustained in the rock climbing accident, according to his obituary.
